: Hearing scheduled for the renewal of Hans' city of Houston beer/wine license. This sign is posted on the door.

"Please Help Save Hans Bier Haus From Extinction

On June 15th there will be a hearing to determine whether or not to renew out City of Houston beer/wine license (not TABC). Our renewal has been protested by the individuals who have been TERRORIZING all of us for the past 5 years. These DESPICABLE INDIVIDUALS have been claiming in the press that this establishment is a public nuisance and that we are all "alcoholics" and "bar scum" and should be denied our renewal.

I implore anyone who is able to attend to please let us know so we can properly defend ourselves against these abhorrent and libelous allegations. With the help of your support and a little bit of your time we can stop these BULLIES from destroying this neighborhood institution and insure the future of our peaceful existence and our rights as decent citizens."

That's a real shame, what's even more sucky is that the condo developer is the type of client I provide consulting services to very often. Sickening.

The day that you realize that you *are* The Man is as depressing as the day you *are* your parents. :)
